Lavender fields of Provence and the Luberon valleys

Article text
Provence and the Luberon valleys are full of scenic riches. The region is blessed with almost year-round sunshine and magnificent light, making photographing the Provence a delight whatever the season.

The diversity of landscapes is truly astonishing, with fields of lavender, olive groves, rolling hills, and vineyards, mountains and hills of vibrant yellow and red ochre. Not forgetting Europe's deepest canyon, and an abundance of roman ruins scattered across the landscape.

We will travel through the region following specific routes so you can capture the landscape and its people at their very best. Visiting roman and medieval hill top towns and villages. Where there are local markets everyday, ranging from a handful of farmers stalls, to large scale events for local farmers, food producers, artists and crafts people.

During this tour you will not only have the opportunity for stunning landscape and travel photography, but also experience the tastes and sounds of the Provence, with its warm evening sun, delicious food and fine wines.
